    We advise you to have maths, science and mathematics. English is compulsory.

    Most Aviation schools in SA are not SAQA approved. Therefore we don’t usually recognise NQF Levels.

  • I AM 45 YEARS OLD, AM I TOO OLD TO START TRAINING AS A PILOT?

    It’s never too late. As long as you’ve passed your aviation medical examination.

  • DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM TO BECOME A PILOT?

    No. It’s always an advantage though.

  • HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?

    We give you a year to complete your PPL, however it can certainly be done in less time. Same with CPL.

  • HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO START FLYING?

    You can get an SPL from the age of 16 years old.

  • DO WE TRAIN ON SIMULATORS OR REAL AEROPLANES?

    On both, at different stages of your training.

  • WHAT DOES THE AVIATION MEDICAL EXAMINATION ENTAIL?

    It’s a very basic medical examination, which will also incorporate fitness, lung function and eye test (amongst others).

  • CAN I START WORKING WITH A PPL?

    No

  • WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS?

    Most important is a study permit.
