PARAMOUNT AVIATION ACADEMY
Paramount Aviation Academy is an exclusive flying school in the town of Bethlehem, nestled in the foothills of the Maluti and Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa.
Here we believe that personal attention from vastly experienced instructors is the key to producing exceptional pilots who are confident and competent.
WHY CHOOSE US
HERE ARE THE REASONS WHY PARAMOUNT AVIATION ACADEMY SHOULD BE YOUR PREFERRED CHOICE WHEN IT COMES TO LEARNING HOW TO FLY
Our instructors are highly experienced and dedicated to teaching people to fly.
Free State Highlands has fantastic weather meaning students can fly almost every day of the year.
NO PRESSURE/TIME WAISTAGE
Quite airfield means students can concentrate on learning to fly without being rushed
HOT & HIGH TRAINING
On hot days or higher altitudes, the atmosphere is less dense and therefore more caution is required
A NPL allows you the pilot to carry one other passenger and only fly during the daytime. Perfect for those who fly for fun.
A commercial pilot may be compensated for flying. Training for the license focuses on a better understanding of aircraft systems and a higher standard of airmanship. The commercial license itself does not allow a pilot to fly in instrument meteorological conditions.
A PPL is the first step towards obtaining a CPL. It allows you to carry a limited number of passengers.
Perfect for building confident and competent pilots, our mountain flying course is conducted in the Maluti Mountains as well as in the Drakensburg, both within minutes of our airport.
Paramount Aviation Academy's Night Rating Course allows you the pilot to fly at night conveniently.
Instrument Rating course prepares you for flying with greater precision even in challenging weather conditions.
Africa is famous for its game reserves and wildlife, and there is no better way to get to experience this than from the air!
In order to do this, a whole new set of flying skills will be required. Many of the places you will want to get to will not have prepared landing strips, and will often be in rough terrain and on treacherous strips.
